He and his wife, Simri, have a little girl named Avery and a son named Asher. God has continually blessed their family. They live in McKinney, Texas. Avery is 3 years old and loves to dance, read stories, and give her daddy kisses. Asher was just born this year...so he pretty much eats, sleeps, and slobbers...but he's cute! Shawn has a photography, web, and graphic design business called thewhetstone.com. Simri is involved in a ministry called Neighborhood Life and she writes poetry and stories.

Shawn Rants: Freedom by ignorance is not the way God intended for me to live. Nor does He desire me to take His word and twist it so that I can live however feels right. He gave us His word so that we could have wisdom far beyond worldly understanding. He gave us His word so that our desires begin to reflect His ways. To see and walk away, I forget the man I am.
